【브레이크뉴스 경주】박영재 기자=한국원자력환경공단은 지난 13일, 14일 양일간 경주시 문무대왕면, 천북면 등지에서 태풍 피해복구 활동을 펼쳤다고 밝혔다.

차성수 이사장을 비롯한 공단 청정누리봉사단 50여명은 제11호 태풍으로 침수 피해를 입은 경주시 천북면 일원 비닐하우스에서 토사와 이물질 제거 작업을 도왔다.

또, 대종천 범람으로 침수 피해를 입은 월성원전방폐장 민간환경감시기구와 지역 복지시설를 방문, 기자재에 묻은 토사를 씻어내고 주변 환경정리 등을 도우며 구슬땀을 흘렸다.

차성수 한국원자력환경공단 이사장은 “지방이전 공공기관으로서 장비와 인력을 최대한 지원해 태풍 피해를 입은 주민들이 하루빨리 일상으로 돌아갈수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
