권영길 안동시장 예비후보 선대위는 1일 후보에 대한 허위사실 유포와 관련, 관련 기관의 엄중한 조사와 이에 대한 대응을 예고했다.
선대위측은 이날 안동시선거관리위원회를 찾아 “거짓 보도와 허위 기사가 악의적으로 유포되고, 차마 입에 담지 못할 내용을 기사화해 심각한 명예훼손과 지지율을 떨어뜨리려는 전략으로 민주주의의 꽃인 지방선거를 진흙탕에 빠트려 시민의 판단을 흐리게 하고 있다”고 엄정한 조치를 촉구했다.
