정훈선 예비후보는 만 40세의 젊은 나이에 안동시의원을 시작으로 3선 시의원이 되었으며, 의회운영위원장, 시의회 의장, 경북북부지역 의장협의회장을 역임하고 현재는 지방분권운동 안동시 사무국장과 경북북부지역 발전포럼 공동대표로 활발한 활동을 펼치고 있다.
