【브레이크뉴스 경주】이성현 기자=경주엑스포대공원(이하 )은 올해 안전한 명품공원 실현을 위한 일환으로 31일 동국대 WISE캠퍼스 스마트안전공학부 원종일 교수를 ‘경주엑스포대공원 안전근로협의체’ 자문위원으로 재위촉 했다고 밝혔다.

또한 지난해와 같이 동국대학교 스마트안전공학부 학생들의 대공원 현상실습 및 위해·위험성 평가회를 개최할 계획이다.

대공원에 따르면 올해 ‘무장애나눔길 조성사업’을 비롯 ‘무궁화동산 조성사업’, ‘생활권역 실외정원 조성사업’, ‘계림’ 프로젝트 등의 사업이 추진됨에 따라 안전한 공사와 완공 후에도 안전 유지 관리에 더욱 철저를 기하기 위해 자문위원을 재위촉 했다.

대공원은 지난해 4월 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스와 중대재해예방을 위한 상호 교류 협약을 체결, 스마트안전공학부 학생들의 현장실습 및 학생들의 중대재해예방을 위한 ‘경주엑스포대공원 위험성평가 보고서’ 발표회를 가졌다.

또한 지난해 1월 27일 중대재해 예방을 위한 전담조직인 안전서비스TF팀을 신설하고, 4월 1일 안전보건경영방침 선포 및 안전근로협의체 구성하고 지난해 연말에는 안전보건경영시스템 국제표준( KS Q ISO 45001:2018/ISO 45001:2018) 인증을 획득했다.

아울러 관람객중심 편의시설 확충공사를 통해 BF(Barrier Free, 장애물 없는 생활환경)인증을 획득하는 등 보행약자(장애인·노약자·임산부등)들의 안전한 이동권 보장에도 힘을 쏟았다.
