12일 예천군에 따르면 용이 휘감은 신비로운 마을 회룡포, 육지의 용궁으로 불리는 아름다운 간이역 용궁역과 테마공원, 청룡 두 마리가 왕건에게 절로 향하는 길을 안내했다는 용문사, 옛 정취가 물씬 풍겨오는 삼강문화단지 등은 겨울에도 아름다운 관광지로 잘 알려져 있다.

예천군 용궁면은 지명에 ‘용’이 들어간 고장 가운데 하나로 이곳에 있는 회룡포(명승)는 내성천이 산에 가로막혀 마을을 350° 휘감고 나가는 형상이 마치 용틀임하는 모습과 같아 회룡(回龍)이라는 이름이 붙어졌으며 천년고찰 장안사를 지나 회룡포 전망대에 오르면 한눈에 감상할 수 있다.

회룡포 마을 안은 뿅뿅다리를 통해 들어갈 수 있으며, 회룡포와 내성천을 미로로 표현한 회룡포미르미로공원이 눈길을 끈다.
