27일 군에 따르면 올해 추진했던 군정 주요성과 중 총 18건의 우수 성과를 후보로정하고 지난 13일부터 19일까지 국민심사 등을 거쳐 최종 10건을 선정했다.

최종 선정된 군정 10대 성과로는 ①교육발전특구 시범지역 지정 등 교육명품도시 도약②아이 낳고 키우기 좋은 저출산 대응 사업 ③스마트 도시 솔루션 확산사업 ④군민이 편리한 교통환경 개선 ⑤공공임대형 지식산업센터 건립 추진 ⑥전국 1등쌀 미소진품 도입 및 확대 보급 ⑦예천 2024 현대양궁월드컵대회 개최 ⑧한천 침수 예방을 위한 예천보 개체공사 ⑨패밀리파크 파크골프장 조성 ⑩환경부 그린시티 선정 등이 포함됐다.

최종 선정된 군정 10대 성과는 주민이 행복한 예천을 만들기 위한 많은 노력들이 다수 반영됐다.

우선 아이를 낳고 키우기 좋은 행복 예천을 위하여 추진한 분만취약지 의료환경 개선사업, 돌봄 연장 운영을 위한 K보듬6000 사업 등이 좋은 평가를 받았으며 교육발전특구 시범지역 지정을 비롯한 다양한 교육사업들도 주민들의 호평을 얻었다.

그리고 주민들이 살기 편리한 도시환경을 조성하기 위하여 추진한 스마트 도시 솔루션 확산사업(전기자전거 도입, 스마트 버스정거장 및 스마트 폴 설치 등), 교통환경 개선사업(전기버스 도입, 임시공영주차장 조성, 택시요금 인하 등)도 많은 성원을 받았다.

또한 지역경제의 도약을 위해 추진되고 있는 예천 공공임대형 지식산업센터 건립 사업과 전국 1등쌀 미소진품 도입 및 확대 보급 사업도 선정되었으며, 세계적인 양궁 도시로 위상을 높인 예천 2024 현대양궁월드컵대회 개최도 포함되었다.

이 밖에도 주민들의 안전한 삶을 위한 예천보 개체공사와 주민 여가활동을 위한 패밀리파크 파크골프장 조성 사업, 클린도시 예천을 넘어 환경부에서 그린시티로 선정된 성과도 선정되는 등 주민들의 군정에 대한 다양한 관심을 나타냈다.

김학동 군수는 “이 성과는 그동안 군민들이 살기 좋은 예천을 만들기 위해 주민들과 함께 모든 공직자들이 묵묵히 일한 결과”라며 “내년에도 추진 중인 주요 사업들의 마무리를 위해 노력하고 더 나은 예천 건설을 위해 노력하겠다.” 고 말했다.
