【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구지방고용노동청(청장 권병희)이 청년 고용 활성화를 위해 사업주와 청년 근로자를 지원하는 ‘청년일자리도약장려금’ 사업을 시행하고 있다. 2025년 8월 말 기준, 대구·경북권에서는 3,818개 기업이 사업에 참여해 청년 5,043명을 채용했다.
청년일자리도약장려금은 현재 유형I과 유형II로 운영된다. 유형I은 만 15~34세 취업애로청년을 정규직으로 채용하고, 6개월 이상 고용을 유지한 5인 이상 중소기업에 1년간 최대 720만 원을 지원한다. 취업애로청년은 ▴4개월 이상 실업 상태 ▴고졸 이하 청년 등을 포함한다.

유형II에서는 6개월 이상 근속한 청년에게 근속 6·12·18·24개월차마다 각 120만 원, 최대 480만 원을 직접 지급한다. 빈일자리 업종에는 보건·복지업, 농업, 식품제조업, 해운업, 수산업 등이 포함된다.
