【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=가스배관을 타고 아파트에 침입해 자신을 스토킹 혐의로 신고한 여성을 살해한 40대 남성에게 법원이 징역 40년을 선고했다.  

대구지법 서부지원 형사1부(재판장 도정원)는 11일 특정범죄가중처벌법상 보복살인 등 혐의로 기소된 윤정우(48)에게 징역 40년을 선고했다. 

전자발찌 20년 부착, 성폭력·스토킹 치료 프로그램 40시간 이수, 신상정보 등록 15년, 아동·청소년·장애인 관련 기관 취업제한 5년 등도 함께 명령했다.  

재판부는 윤씨의 범행을 사전에 치밀하게 계획한 것으로 판단했다. 윤씨는 범행 전 피해자 아파트 외벽을 촬영해 구조를 미리 파악했으며, 복면과 장갑을 착용하고 흉기를 들고 침입했다. 

범행 후에는 옷을 갈아입고 사흘 동안 대구를 벗어나 도피하는 등 체포를 피하려 한 정황도 드러났다.  

재판부는 “피고인은 우발적 범행을 주장하지만, 무방비 상태의 피해자에게 수차례 흉기를 휘두르고 아무런 구조 조치 없이 달아났다”며 “피해자가 사건 당시 느꼈을 극심한 공포와 남겨진 유족의 고통을 고려할 때 엄중한 처벌이 불가피하다”고 판시했다.  

윤씨는 지난 6월 10일 새벽, 대구 달서구 한 아파트에서 가스배관을 타고 6층까지 올라가 피해 여성(50대)을 흉기로 살해한 뒤 도주한 혐의로 재판에 넘겨졌다. 

윤씨는 피해자를 지속적으로 협박·스토킹하다 형사 입건되자, 보복할 목적으로 범행을 저지른 것으로 조사됐다.  

앞서 검찰은 “피해자의 신고에 앙심을 품고 계획적으로 살해한 중대한 범죄”라며 윤씨에게 사형을 구형한 바 있다.

A court has sentenced a man in his 40s to 40 years in prison for breaking into an apartment through a gas pipe and murdering a woman who had reported him for stalking.

The court concluded that Yoon's crime was meticulously planned. Before committing the crime, he photographed the exterior walls of the victim's apartment to understand its layout. He entered the apartment wearing a mask, gloves, and armed with a weapon.

Evidence also emerged that he attempted to evade arrest by changing his clothes and fleeing Daegu for three days.

The court ruled, "The defendant claims the crime was accidental, but he repeatedly stabbed the defenseless victim and fled without any rescue efforts." It added, "Considering the extreme fear the victim must have felt during the incident and the pain the bereaved family must have felt, a severe punishment is inevitable."

Yoon was indicted on charges of climbing up a gas pipe to the sixth floor of an apartment in Dalseo-gu, Daegu, in the early hours of June 10th, stabbing and killing a woman in her 50s before fleeing the scene.

Yoon was investigated for repeatedly threatening and stalking the victim, and after being booked for criminal charges, he committed the crime in retaliation.

Prosecutors previously sought the death penalty for Yoon, stating, "He committed a serious crime, premeditated murder out of resentment for the victim's report."
