30일 대구지법 서부지원 형사1부(부장판사 도정원) 심리로 열린 결심 공판에서, 검찰은 특정범죄 가중처벌 등에 관한 법률 위반(보복살인) 등 혐의로 구속 기소된 윤 씨에게 사형을 선고해달라고 재판부에 요청했다. 

검찰은 “피고인은 결별을 요구한 피해자를 지속적으로 협박하고 스토킹했으며, 범죄 신고에 앙심을 품고 계획적으로 살해한 중대한 범죄를 저질렀다”고 구형 이유를 밝혔다. 

이어 “범행을 부인하며 반성하지 않고 있고, 유족들 역시 엄벌을 탄원하고 있다는 점을 고려해 법정 최고형을 구형했다”고 덧붙였다.

윤정우는 지난 6월 10일 새벽, 대구 달서구 한 아파트에서 가스 배관을 타고 6층에 있는 피해자 주거지로 침입해 흉기로 피해자를 살해한 뒤 달아난 혐의를 받고 있다. 

피해자는 앞서 윤 씨를 스토킹 및 협박 혐의로 경찰에 신고한 것으로 알려졌다. 검찰 조사 결과, 윤 씨는 범행 전 주변 지인들에게 여러 차례 피해자를 살해하겠다는 말을 했고, 피해자 아파트 주변을 돌며 침입 경로를 탐색하고 외벽 사진을 촬영하는 등 범행을 치밀하게 준비한 것으로 드러났다.

범행 직후 세종의 한 야산으로 도주했던 윤 씨는 범행 나흘 만인 6월 14일 경찰에 붙잡혔다. 

검찰은 “이번 사건은 스토킹 범죄가 보복 살인으로 이어진 대표적인 사례”라며 “피고인에 대한 엄정한 처벌이 이뤄지고, 유사 범죄의 재발을 막기 위해 스토킹 범죄 예방에 최선을 다할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

윤정우에 대한 1심 선고 공판은 오는 12월 11일 오전 10시에 열릴 예정이다.

Yoon Jeong-woo is accused of entering the victim's sixth-floor residence via a gas pipe in an apartment in Dalseo-gu, Daegu, in the early morning hours of June 10th, killing her with a weapon before fleeing the scene.

The victim reportedly reported Yoon to the police for stalking and threatening her. The prosecution's investigation revealed that Yoon had repeatedly threatened to kill the victim to acquaintances before the crime, and meticulously planned the attack, including patrolling the area around the victim's apartment, exploring break-ins, and taking photographs of the exterior walls.

Yoon fled to a mountain in Sejong immediately after the crime and was apprehended by the police four days later on June 14.

The prosecution stated, "This case is a prime example of a stalking crime leading to revenge murder. We will ensure that the defendant is severely punished and will do our utmost to prevent similar crimes from recurring."

Yoon Jeong-woo's first trial is scheduled for 10:00 AM on December 11.
