29일부터 실시되는 온라인 연수과정은 코로나19가 지속되는 상황으로 2020년 상반기부터 준비되었으며 사립대학 교직원이 필수적으로 알아야 할 사립대학 및 산학협력단의 회계 구조와 교원 인사 관련 법령 해설로 구성되었다.

재단은 2000년도부터 사립대학 및 산학협력단 예·결산 집계·분석을 통해 사학기관의 재정분석 및 회계처리에 대한 전문성을 보유하고 있다. 또한 교원 인사 및 노무에 대한 전문 강사를 확보하고 있어 1998년부터 높은 수준의 재정, 인사 분야의 연수과정을 제공하여 온 바 있다.

그러나 2020년 상반기부터 시작된 코로나19가 전국적으로 확산되면서 재단은 집합연수 개최를 전면 중단하고, 다양한 온라인 연수를 준비하여 2021년에는 매월 실시간 원격 연수와 더불어 이번 개설되는 온라인 연수과정을 병행하여 사립대학 교직원의 직무 역량 향상을 지원할 예정이다.

온라인 연수과정은 오는 29일부터 4월 30일까지 교육이 제공되며 온라인 연수의 신청기간은 11일부터 23일까지이다.
