대구 동구청(구청장 배기철)이 율하 도시첨단산업단지가 국가시범단지로 지정돼 스마트 시티로 거듭난다고 22일 밝혔다.

지난 21일 국토교통부는 율하 도시첨단산업단지를 스마트그린 국가 시범 산단으로 지정했다.

율하 도시첨단산업단지는 2022년까지 총 1천218억이 투입되며 태양광 발전단지, 연료전지 발전시설 등을 설치할 예정이다.

동구청은 율하 도시첨단산업단지를 지역의 새로운 성장 거점으로 삼고 기존 혁신도시 내 위치한 첨단복합의료단지, 신서의료 R&D 등과 연계해 친환경 첨단산업 및 지식 문화산업 융복합 혁신클러스터로 조성할 예정이며 조성 초기 계획단계부터 탄소배출 저감 계획을 수립해 저탄소, 고효율 에너지 구조의 대표 모델로 삼을 예정이다.

이를 위해 신재생 에너지 설비 및 녹색 건축물 건축 시 용지 우선공급 및 분양가 인하, 세제 감면, 환경부담금 경감 등의 인센티브를 제공하고 산단에는 친환경 기반 시설 등을 조기에 갖춘다는 계획이다.
