지원금은 차종 및 연식에 따라 차등 적용되며 보험개발원이 산정한 분기별 차량기준가액을 기준으로 산정한다. 

산정된 차량기준가액의 70%는 차량 폐차(말소) 시 지급하며, 경유차가 아닌 신차 및 배출가스 1․2등급 중고차 구매 시 나머지 30%를 추가 지원한다.
