대구 효성병원(이사장 박경동)에서 2022년 임인년(壬寅年) 첫날인 1일 오전 02시 10분에 첫둥이가 탄생했다고 밝혔다.

2022년 새해를 알린 첫둥이는 3.15kg의 건강한 여아(태명 조이)로 산모 신모씨(30살)와 남편 김모씨(32살)사이에서 태어났다. 

이날 산부인과전문의 조영록 주치의는 “코로나19로 모두가 힘든 시기에 첫둥이를 받게되어 감회가 새롭다.”며 “올해 더 많은 아이들이 세상에 태어나고 건강하게 자랐으면 좋겠다.”고 전했다.

한편 대구효성병원은 보건복지부로부터 4주기 의료기관 인증획득에 이어 3주기 산부인과 전문병원으로 선정 된 의료기관이다.
