한국사회여론연구소가 7월 8일과 9일 양일간 실시한 여론조사에서 국정운영을 잘 하고 있다고 긍정적으로 답한 의견은 34.5%에 불과했다. 반면, 잘못하고 있다는 부정적 의견은 60.8%로 지난주에 비해 8.9% 상승하며 격차가 더 벌어졌다.

또, 이준석 국민의힘 대표 징계와 관련해서는 ‘적절한 징계’라는 응답이 33.2%, ‘과도하다’라는 응답이 31.0%, ‘미흡하다’라는 응답이 27.5%로 오차범위 내에서 팽팽했다.

국민의힘 지지층에서는 ‘과도하다’라는 응답이 39.9%, ‘적절하다’라는 응답이 39.2%로 오차범위 내에서 팽팽히 맞섰고 ‘미흡하다’라는 응답은 14.2%였다. 

반면, 민주당 지지층과 무당층(지지정당 없음/모름)에서는 ‘미흡하다’라는 응답이 각각 36.4%, 35.4%로 상대적으로 많았다. 다만, 이 조사와 관련해 한국사회여론연구소는 표본조사에서 발생하는 일정 수준의 표본오차를 고려해야 한다“면서 ”특히, 세부 응답층별로 사례 수가 적어지면 극단치의 영향을 받을 수 있기 때문에 전체 값 또는 세부 집단 간 비교시에는 해석에 주의를 요한다“고 밝혔다. 

이번 조사에서는 윤석열 대통령에 대한 부정적인 평가는 인사 문제에서 상당 부분 비롯되는 것을 살펴볼 수 있다. 조사에서 박순애 사회부총리 임명, 송옥렬 공정거래위원장 지명 등 인사 문제를 물었더니 응답자 60.3%가 ‘인사 실패라고 답했다. 반면에 ’이전 정부 등과 비교했을 때 인사 실패로 볼 수 없다’라고 답한 사람은 27.8%에 불과했다.

일시 중지된 출근길 기자문답에의 논란 질문에는‘대통령이 충분히 준비되지 않은 상태에서 답변하기 때문’이라는 응답이 47.3%로 가장 많았다. 이어 ‘격의 없고 솔직한 대통령의 스타일’(24.2%), ‘주요 정책이나 인선을 두고 내부의 소통 혼선이 실재’(14.0%), ‘참모진의 보좌가 부족’(6.3%) 등의 응답이 뒤를 이었다. 

한편, 윤석열 대통령 부부가 나토 해외순방 때 민간인을 동행해 논란을 빚은 사건에 대해서는 66.5%가 ‘부적절하다’라고 답했다. ‘적법한 절차를 거쳤기에 문제가 없다’라는 응답은 26.2%에 그쳤다. 

이번 조사는 TBS 의뢰로 한국사회여론연구소(KSOI)가 지난 7월 8~9일 전국 만 18세 이상 성인 남녀 1,002명을 대상으로 실시했다.

조사 방법은 중앙선관위 제공 안심번호 무선 자동응답방식 100%, 표본오차는 95% 신뢰수준에서 ±3.1%p, 응답률은 6.3%로 2022년 6월 말 기준 행정안전부 주민등록인구를 기준으로 성, 지역, 연령별 가중치를 적용했다(셀가중).보다 자세한 사항은 중앙선거여론조사심의위원회나 한국사회여론연구소 홈페이지(www.ksoi.org)를 참조하면 된다.

This survey was commissioned by TBS and was conducted by the Korea Social Opinion Institute (KSOI) on July 8-9.

 The survey was conducted on 1,002 adults, men and women over the age of 18 nationwide.

The survey method was 100% wireless automatic response method provided by the National Election Commission, and the sampling error was ±3.1%p at the 95% confidence level, and the response rate was 6.3%.
