대구청소년상담복지센터는 자살, 자해, 학교(청소년)폭력, 미디어 과의존 등 청소년에게 파급력이 큰 주호소문제에 대해 올 한해 찾아가는 상담이나 지역사회 청소년안전망 활성화 역할을 포함한 선제적 맞춤 상담과 교육 서비스를 제공했다.

또 연 1,800여명의 지역 청소년이 참여한 인터넷 ·스마트폰 과의존 예방 및 해소사업에서는 ‘학령전환기 인터넷 ·스마트폰 진단조사’ 결과를 토대로 위험도를 분류해 기숙형 치유캠프(11박12일), 부모교육, 병원 연계 등의 상담 치유서비스를 운영, 위기 수준 개선율을 90%대로 끌어올리는 등 가시적인 성과를 거두었다.

그 결과 대구시청소년상담복지센터는 ‘인터넷 스마트폰 과의존 예방 및 해소사업 우수상담자’, ‘최우수청소년동반자’ 선정돼 지난 1일 여성가족부장관 표창을 수상했다.

또  ‘2022 자살자해 집중 심리클리닉 최우수 운영 기관’으로 선정, 지난 9일 한국청소년상담복지개발원 이사장 표창을 수상하였으며 ‘학교(청소년)폭력예방 우수 운영기관’으로 선정돼 오는 16일 여성가족부 장관 표창을 받게된다.

이와 함께 대구시청소년상담복지센터 소속 1388청소년지원단인 대구시청소년지도협의회(회장 문상희)도 자발적인 민간조직으로서 지역 청소년의 보호와 지도에 그 공로를 인정받아 한국청소년상담복지개발원 ‘우수 1388청소년지원단’(이사장상 표창)으로 선정됐다.
