【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구광역시행복진흥사회서비스원 청소년상담복지센터가  ‘찾아가는 생명존중 캠페인’과 ‘자살예방 집단교육 프로그램’을 추진한다.

22일 대구행복진흥원은 대구 지역 9개 구‧군 청소년상담복지센터와 함께  3월부터 11일까지 사업을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 관할 지역 내 희망하는 초‧중‧고등학교 청소년을 대상으로 진행되며, 자살예방과 생명존중 인식을 높이는 데 목적이 있다.

사업 주요 내용은 ▲자살 및 자해에 대한 정확한 정보 제공 ▲생명존중 인식 제고 ▲위기 신호 인식 및 대처 능력 향상 ▲청소년 대상 응원·격려 활동 등이다.

프로그램은 학교 현장에서 직접 실시되며, 위기 청소년이 스스로를 보호하고 적절한 도움을 받을 수 있는 환경 조성도 지원할 예정이다.

참여를 희망하는 학교는 각 지역 청소년상담복지센터를 통해 신청할 수 있으며, 캠페인은 사전 신청과 일정 협의를 거쳐 방문형으로 진행된다. 

모든 프로그램은 별도의 비용 없이 운영되며, 상담, 심리검사, 보호자 교육도 병행해 심층적인 심리지원이 이뤄진다.

배기철 대구행복진흥사회서비스원 이사장은 “청소년 자살 예방을 위해 조기 개입과 교육이 중요하다”며 “이번 캠페인이 청소년 정신건강 증진과 지역 청소년 안전망 강화에 기여할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

The program will be implemented directly at schools, and it will also support the creation of an environment where youth at risk can protect themselves and receive appropriate help.

Schools wishing to participate can apply through each local youth counseling and welfare center, and the campaign will be conducted in a visit-type manner after prior application and schedule consultation.

All programs are operated without separate costs, and in-depth psychological support is provided through counseling, psychological testing, and guardian education.

Bae Ki-cheol, the director of Daegu Happiness Promotion Social Service Center, said, “Early intervention and education are important for preventing youth suicide,” and “This campaign will contribute to improving youth mental health and strengthening the safety net for local youth.”
