【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 설 명절을 대비해 이달 2일부터 20일까지 3주간 안전한 축산물 공급과 건전한 유통질서 확립을 위한 부정축산물 특별점검을 실시한다고 2일 밝혔다.

이를 위해 경북도, 동물위생시험소, 23개 시군 공무원과 민간 생산자단체에서 위촉한 명예축산물위생감시원으로 구성된 민관 합동점검반(23개반)을 구성했다.

합동점검반은 지역 도축장, 축산물가공업소, 식육포장처리업소, 축산물판매업소 등 6900여 개소의 축산물 영업장을 대상으로 단속과 점검을 펼친다.

특히, 최근 행정처분 이력 업체, 최근 3년간 점검실적이 없는 업체, 안전관리(HACCP) 미인증 업체 등에 대해 중점 점검 할 방침이다.

주요 점검 사항으로는 무허가 제조·판매, 유통기한 경과제품 보관‧판매, 냉장‧냉동 온도 준수 여부, 수입쇠고기 및 젖소‧육우고기의 한우둔갑판매, 기타 영업자 준수사항 이행여부 등 이다.

또 명절 선물용인 포장육, 햄, 소시지 등 축산물가공품에 대해 수거검사를 실시하며, 식중독균 검출 등 부적합 축산물에 대해서는 신속한 회수 및 폐기조치 등으로 소비자 보호에 적극 대응할 방침이다

김철순 경북도 동물방역과장은“ 먹거리 안전을 위협하는 위반행위에 대해서는 엄중하게 처분하겠다”며 “부정축산물 유통 등의 불법행위가 의심될 경우 적극적으로 행정기관이나 경찰, 부정·불량 식품 신고전화(1399)에 신고해 달라”고 당부했다.
