20일 오천시장과 삼광시장, 동해영남상가, 구룡포시장, 연일시장, 효자시장을 찾아 설 체감경기를 살피고 상인들을 격려하며 지역의 여러 민원을 청취할 계획이다.
설 연휴 첫 날인 21일에는 잇따른 한파에도 깨끗한 거리 조성에 애쓰시는 환경관리원을 격려하는 일정을 시작으로, 죽도시장과 남부시장, 상대시장, 대해시장, 송림시장, 큰동해시장을 방문하여 서민물가를 살피고 시민들과 소통할 예정이다.
김병욱 의원은 “지난해는 태풍 힌남노로 인한 피해로 모두에게 상실감이 컸다”며, “이 힘든 시기와 위기를 잘 극복해내기를 바라며, 우리 지역 경제에 활력을 불어넣는 일에 전력을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
