【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=김병욱 국회의원(포항시남구울릉군, 국회 교육위원회)은 10일 영일중학교, 오천초등학교, 이동중학교 학교시설 개선을 위한 특별교부금을 확보했다고 밝혔다.
김 의원이 확보한 교육부 특별교부금은 총 28억 2,900만원으로 영일중학교 2억 5천만원, 오천초등학교 17억 8,200만원, 이동중학교 7억 9,700만원이다.
영일중학교는 소규모 옥외체육관 증축에, 오천초등학교는 다목적 강당 전면을 보수하고, 이동중학교는 외벽 보수와 친환경 마사토 운동장 조성 사업을 진행할 예정이다.
김병욱 의원은 “교육부 특별교부금 확보로 우리 아이들이 더 안전하고 쾌적한 환경에서 학교생활을 할 수 있을 것”이라며 “앞으로도 초중고교생의 학습권과 건강권 확보를 위한 교육 환경 조성에 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 전했다.

National Assembly member Kim Byung-wook (Ulleung-gun, Nam-gu, Pohang, National Assembly Education Committee) announced on the 10th that he had secured special grants for improving school facilities at Yeongil Middle School, Ocheon Elementary School, and Lee Dong Middle School.
