【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=국민의힘 김병욱 의원(포항시남구울릉군, 국회 교육위원회 소속)은 16일 오전 10시 국회의원회관 제1세미나실에서 ‘국가교육·돌봄책임 강화를 위한 초등 늘봄학교’를 주제로 정책토론회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

김병욱 의원이 주최하고 교육부와 한국교육개발원이 주관하는 이번 토론회는 윤석열 정부의 110대 국정과제인 ‘초등 전일제학교’ 이행을 위해 마련됐다.

김성기 협성대학교 교수가 좌장을 맡고 이성회 한국교육개발원 방과후학교중앙지원센터장이 발제를 진행한다.

토론자로는 김희성 서울전곡초등학교 교사, 이희진 서촌초등학교 돌봄전담사, 손재광 방과후강사노조 부위원장, 김은종 (사)사교육걱정없는세상 사업국장, 김용옥 대전광역시교육청 교육정책과 장학관, 최혜영 도봉마을방과후활동운영센터장, 류재현 보건복지부 인구정책과 사무관이 참여한다.

김병욱 의원은 “‘늘 봄처럼 따뜻한 학교’라는 의미의 ‘초등 늘봄학교’ 정책이 모든 아이들에게 양질의 돌봄과 교육을 제공하는 울타리 역할을 할 수 있게 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
