【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장직무대행 송용) 재난안전공유협업센터가 2023년도 상반기 경상북도교육청연수원 특수분야 연수기관으로 선정됐다.
7일 선린대에 따르면 이번 연수기관 선정은 응급처치교육에 필요한 교육시설, 전문강사진, 실습기자재 분야에 대한 심사를 거쳐 최종 선정되었으며, 앞으로 경상북도 유·초·중등 교원 및 교육 전문직원을 대상으로 응급의료 관련 법령 및 응급처치 실습 등 응급상황 대처 능력 향상을 위한 교육을 진행할 예정이다.
앞서 재난안전공유협업센터는 미국심장협회와 대한심폐소생협회의 교육지침과 가이드라인에 맞춰 시행되는 교육 프로그램인 미국심장협회의 의료종사자를 위한 ▲ 한국형심폐소생술(KBLS provider) ▲기본심폐소생술(BLS provider) ▲전문심장소생술(ACLS provider) ▲한국전문소생술(KALS provider) 교육기관으로 지정된 바 있다.
김병용 교수(재난안전공유협업센터장)는 “선린대학교의 정신인 ‘선한 사마리아인’의 봉사정신을 바탕으로 심폐소생술 교육의 중요성을 널리 알리고 누구라도 응급상황에 대처할 수 있는 능력을 갖출 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
