【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환)는 11월 28일 믿음관 203호 세미나실에서 포항시 지원 ‘2024년 신중년 일자리 지원사업’ 드론교육지도사 1급 및 드론국가자격증 4종 취득과정 수료식을 개최했다고 29일 밝혔다.

이번 과정은 신중년을 대상으로 한 직업 재교육 프로그램으로 급변하는 산업 환경 속에서 신중년층의 취업 기회를 넓히기 위해 마련됐다.

곽진환 총장은 “드론 산업에 대한 이해를 높이고 신중년층의 취업 가능성을 한층 더 확대할 수 있을 것이며, 특히 드론 산업은 최근 다양한 분야에서 활발히 활용되고 있어 관련 자격증 취득이 새로운 일자리 창출에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.” 고 말했다.

서강희 수료생은“선린대학교에서 진행된 드론교육지도사 1급 과정 덕분에 드론에 대한 깊은 이해를 얻을 수 있었고, 다양한 드론 활용도에 대해 널리 알리는데 기여하고 싶다”고 말했다.

이번 교육과정을 통해 포항시와 선린대학교는 지역 내 신중년층의 새로운 직업적 기회를 제공하고 드론 산업의 발전에 기여할 수 있는 인재 양성으로 드론 관련 기업 및 교육기관 등에서 다양한 활동을 기대하고 있다.
