김하수 청도군수는 “경기의 결과도 중요하지만, 최선을 다하는 모습을보여 군민들의 귀감이 되어주시길 바란다”라고 전하며, 동시에 부상 없는 안전한 대회를 치르고 올 것을 당부했다.

한편, 제61회 경북도민체전은 울진군 일원에서 4월 21일부터 4일간 치러지며 청도군은 15개 종목 442명의 선수단을 구성하여 출전한다.
