1일 김 예비후보는 "가뜩이나 소득주도성장으로 인해 소상공인들이 50인 미만의 사업장에서 굉장히 힘든 상황에 처해있음에도 불구하고, 민주당이 중대재해처벌법 적용을 강행한 것은 우리나라의 소상공인들을 잠재적 범죄자로 만들어 죽이는 행위와 같다“고 주장했다.

그러면서 ”지난 정부에서는 소득주도성장이라는 악법을 만들어 사용자와 근로자를 모두 사지로 내몰더니, 이번에는 중대재해처벌법 유예안 반대로 소상공인들을 모두 잠재적 범죄자로 만들었다“고 꼬집었다.
