【브레이크뉴스 구미】이성현 기자=구미시의회(박교상 의장)는 9월 22일부터 24일까지 3일간 영천, 포항, 울릉도 등지에서 2024년 구미시의회 하반기 의정연수를 실시했다고 25일 밝혔다.
이번 의졍연수는 구미시의회 의원 및 사무국 직원 23명이 참석한 가운데 의정활동 소양 교육 및 문화 관광 인프라 조성을 위한 선진지 비교견학, 역사적지역 탐방·조사·연구 등으로 진행됐다.
연수 1일차에는 개통 1주년을 맡아 최근 누적 관광객 60만명을 돌파한 영천보현산댐 출렁다리 및 전망대를 견학한 후 포스코 국제관에서 의정활동 소양교육을수강했으며, 이후 지역활성화 현장인 포항 죽도시장과 운하를 방문하였다.
2일차에는 울릉도에 도착한 후 문화·관광분야 선진지를 답사하여 문화·관광인프라 구축에 대한 필요성을 배웠으며, 3일차에는 독도를 방문하여 우리나라영토인 독도의 중요성에 대해 다시 한번 되새기는 시간을 가졌다.
박교상 구미시의회 의장은 “이번 의정연수를 통해 영토 수호 의지를 다지고의정역량을 강화할 수 있었다”고 밝혔으며, 덧붙여 “연수에서 배운 경험을 통해 시 발전에 도움되는 의정활동을 펼쳐 나가겠다.”고 말했다.

Gumi City Council Conducts Second Half of 2024 Legislative Training
Gumi City Council (Chairman Park Kyo-sang) announced on the 25th that it conducted the second half of 2024 legislative training in Yeongcheon, Pohang, Ulleungdo, etc. for three days from September 22nd to 24th.

Afterwards, they visited the Pohang Jukdo Market and Canal, which are local revitalization sites.
