【브레이크뉴스 구미】이성현 기자=구미시의회(의장 박교상)는 11일 제282회 제2차 정례회 제2차 본회의에서 내년도 예산안 등 주요 안건을 처리했다고 밝혔다.
이날 회의에 앞서 진행된 5분 자유발언에서 김원섭 의원은 봉곡동~문성으로 이어지는 도량동 구간의 교통체증 해소를 위한 방안 마련을 촉구했다.
이후 이어진 회의에서는 지난 11월 26일부터 12월 10일까지 15일 동안 각 상임위원회 및 예산결산특별위원회에서 심사한 조례안, 동의안 등과 2025년도 예산안 및 기금운용계획안 등 23건의 안건을 처리했다.
특히 집행기관에서는 2025년도 예산안을 역대 최대규모인 2조 1,455억으로 편성해 제출하였고, 상임위원회의 예비심사와 예산결산특별위원회의 심도 있는 심사 끝에 일반회계 76건 68억 7,989만 원, 기금 1건 500만 원 등 총 77건 68억 8489만 원을 삭감해 예비비로 증액하는 것으로 최종 의결했다.
남은 의사일정으로는 12일부터 16일까지 상임위원회 및 예산결산특별위원회에서 2024년도 제2회 추가경정예산안 및 기금운용계획변경안을 심사하고 17일 제3차 본회의를 열어 최종 의결하고 올해 모든 의사일정을 마감할 계획이다.
박교상 의장은 “구미시 한해 살림살이인 2025년도 예산안이 통과되었지만 정치, 경제적으로 불안한 시기에 내년도 지역경제도 많은 어려움이 있을 것으로 우려된다”면서 “집행기관에서는 예산의 집행계획을 면밀히 세워 소중한 혈세가 지역경제와 주민행복으로 이어질 수 있도록 철저한 준비를 해달라”고 당부했다.
