【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=폭행 가해자인 구미시의회 안주찬 의원이 제시한 '재발방지 및 제도개선 노력‘ 방침을 두고 구미시공무원노조(이하 노조)가 발끈했다.
안 시의원은 지난24일 열린 시의회 본회의에서 "선출직에는 더 높은 도덕성과 더 강한 인내심, 더 많은 소통이 필요하다는 시대적 사명을 간직하며 남은 임기 동안 의회 발전과 화합, 저로 인해 피해를 받은 상처가 빨리 치유될 수 있도록 재발 방지와 제도 개선에 역량을 발휘하겠다"며 "다시한번 피해자에게 진심으로 사과를 드리며 거듭 위로의 말씀을 드린다"고 했다.
노조는 이날 성명을 통해 안 의원의 사과를 ’악어의 눈물‘에 비유했다. 노조는 “안주찬 의원의 사과발언과 태도는 형량을 낮추기 위한 철저히 계산된 행위”라며 “ 악어의 눈물로 시민들을 철저하게 기만하고 있다”고 목소리를 높혔다.
그러면서 “(진정한)사과의 시작은 사건의 진상을 명확히 밝히는 것에서부터 출발해야 한다”고 강조하고 “그럼에도 안 의원의 발언은 어불성설 그 자체이자, 가해자가 문제를 해결하는 주체가 되고자 하는 본질을 흐리는 파렴치한 행동”이라고 강조하고 “피해자에 대한 2차 가해이자, 시민에 대한 기만”이라고 주장했다.
노조에 따르면 안 의원은 사건에 대하여 잘못을 깊이 통감하고, 사실을 있는 그대로 밝히고 진심으로 사죄하기 보다는 사건 발생 이후에도 공무원노동조합을 명예훼손으로 고소하는 등의 피해자에 대한 2차 가해행위를 해왔던 것으로 알려졌다.
노조는 이같은 안 의원의 행위에 대하여 “개인의 이익만을 좇아온 사람이 이제 와 진정어린 반성을 한다고 누가 믿을 수있느냐”며 “구미시민과 공직사회 누구도 ‘가짜 사과’에 결코 속지 않을 것”이라고 거듭 주장했다.
그러면서 노조는 1) 가짜 사과에 대한 강력한 대응과 2) 형량 낮추기 쇼에 대한 철저한 규탄 3) 안 의원의 자진 사퇴 4) 구미시의회의 책임있는 자세를 주문했다.
