구미시는 24일 오전 구미전자정보기술원에서 ‘2025년 제2회 구미시 창업지원기관 협의회’를 열고, 창업기업들의 투자 연계 및 성장 지원을 위한 협력 방안을 논의했다.

이번 협의회에는 구미전자정보기술원, 경북창조경제혁신센터, 중소벤처기업진흥공단 경북지역본부, 구미상공회의소 등 지역 창업지원기관 11곳과 인라이트벤처스(주), 와이앤아처(주) 등 2개 투자기관이 참여해 총 13개 기관이 머리를 맞댔다.

이날 회의의 핵심은 유망 스타트업 4개사의 기술력 소개(IR)와 기관 간 협업 기반의 맞춤형 지원 방안 모색이었다.

먼저 ㈜에이포에이아이(대표 고영규)는 비정형 데이터 통합처리 OS 플랫폼을 소개하며 다양한 산업에서의 활용 가능성을 강조하고 구미 본사 이전 의사를 밝혔다. ㈜일락(대표 최윤서)은 노지 토양 모니터링 센서를 활용한 그린테크 솔루션으로 탄소 저감과 자원 절감의 미래 농업 모델을 제시했다.

㈜컬러렌(대표 박근창)은 초정밀 파티클 인쇄 기술을 기반으로 한 고해상도 컬러 콘택트렌즈를 소개하며, 구미 이전 후 하반기 20만 개 초도 생산 및 일본 등 해외시장 진출 계획을 밝혔다. 또 단디(대표 김효충)는 AI 기반 자율비행·객체인식 기술이 탑재된 군용·산업용 드론을 개발 중이며, 구미 이전을 통해 방산·소방·물류 등 다각적인 시장을 공략할 계획을 내놨다.

IR 발표 이후 각 기관은 구체적인 사업화 지원 방안과 협업 가능성을 공유했으며, 투자기관인 인라이트벤처스와 와이앤아처는 구미지역 스타트업에 대한 투자 확대와 성장 지원에 적극 협력하기로 했다.

김호섭 구미시 부시장은 “기술 개발에서 투자까지 이어질 수 있도록 유기적인 협력 체계를 강화하겠다”며 “구미가 대한민국 유니콘 기업의 발판이 될 수 있도록 행정적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.

Coloren (CEO Geunchang Park) introduced high-resolution color contact lenses based on ultra-precision particle printing technology and announced plans to produce 200,000 units in the second half of the year after relocating to Gumi and to enter overseas markets such as Japan. In addition, Dandy (CEO Hyo-chung Kim) is developing a military and industrial drone equipped with AI-based autonomous flight and object recognition technology, and announced plans to target diverse markets such as defense, firefighting, and logistics through the relocation to Gumi.

After the IR announcement, each organization shared specific business support plans and collaboration possibilities, and investment organizations Enlight Ventures and Y&Archer agreed to actively cooperate in expanding investment and supporting growth for startups in the Gumi region.
