구미 청년드림센터는 구미공단 오피스텔 개발사업으로 공사 금액만 669억원 규모로, 지하 3층~지상 18층 1개 동 전용면적 23.12㎡ 408실, 40.93㎡ 51실 등 오피스텔 총459실과 근린생활시설 및 시·도에서 운영 예정인 공공기여시설 등이 갖추어져 지역의 랜드마크로서 공사는 주) 서한이 맡았다.
청년드림센터는 구미국가산업단지가 착공 후 50년 이상 경과되어 시설 노후화, 기반시설 부족 등으로 인해 산업단지 내 근로자수가 지속적으로 감소하고 있는 상황에서 근로자들의 생활 환경을 개선하고 활기를 불어넣기 위한 프로젝트로, 주변 인프라로는 구미 1산단과 3km 이내 홈플러스, 이마트 등의 쇼핑시설과 롯데시네마, 순천향대학병원이 위치한다. 아울러 대경선 사곡역과 구미종합터미널, 고속도로IC 등이 5km 내 위치해 다양한 교통수단 이용이 편리하다.
