【브레이크뉴스 구미】이성현 기자=구미시의회(의장 박교상)는 6월 23일 본회의장에서 제288회 제1차 정례회 제2차 본회의를 열고 22일간의 정례회 일정을 모두 마무리했다.
이날 본회의에서는 정례회 기간 동안 각 상임위원회에서 심사한 의원 발의 조례안 8건을 포함해 총 12건의 안건이 의결됐다. 또한 2025년도 행정사무감사 결과보고서를 채택하고, 예산결산특별위원회에서 심사한 ‘2024회계연도 세입‧세출 결산 승인안’과 ‘2024회계연도 예비비 지출 승인안’도 함께 의결했다.
특히 이번 2025년도 행정사무감사는 집행기관의 행정 전반을 대상으로 철저한 견제와 감시를 수행하며 총 595건(시정 108건, 개선 187건, 권고 300건)의 감사 지적 사항을 도출하는 성과를 거뒀다. 의원들은 행정·복지·건설·문화 등 다양한 분야에 걸쳐 전문성과 사명감을 바탕으로 실효성 있는 감사를 진행했다.
이번 감사는 단순한 서면 질의에 그치지 않고 현장 중심의 의정활동으로 주목받았다. 산업건설위원회는 선산출장소를 방문해 농업‧농촌 현장의 실태를 파악하고 개선 방안을 모색했으며, 문화환경위원회는 낙동강 도시생태축 복원사업 현장을 찾아 하천 굴착 상황 등을 면밀히 점검하며 사업의 적정성을 심층적으로 논의했다.
박교상 의장은 폐회사를 통해 “평소 구미시의회 의정활동을 응원해 주시고 격려해 주신 시민 여러분께 깊은 감사의 인사를 드린다”며 “이번 행정사무감사를 통해 시민 불편을 최소화하고 올바른 정책이 수립될 수 있도록 최선을 다한 동료 의원들과 집행기관 공무원들에게도 감사드린다”고 말했다.

Gumi City Council (Chairman Park Kyo-sang) held the 2nd plenary session of the 288th 1st Regular Session in the main conference room on June 23, concluding the 22-day regular session schedule.
