24일 군에 따르면 10월 26~27일 ‘제1회 청송 황금사과배 전국 오픈 탁구대회’, 10월 31일 ‘제3회 청송 황금사과배 전국 고교씨름대회’, 11월 2일~3일 ‘제23회 경상북도지사기 생활체육 보디빌딩대회’ 및‘제12회 청송사과배 전국동호인 테니스대회’, 11월 3일 ‘제19회 청송 낙동정맥 등반대회’ 등 각종 체육대회 개최가 예정되어 있다.

이러한 전국 규모의 체육대회는 매 대회마다 1,000명 이상의 선수와 관람객이 청송을 방문할 것으로 예상되며, 이로 인해 지역 상권의 소비 활동이 촉진되고 지역 브랜드 가치가 제고되는 등 다양한 시너지 효과가 기대된다
