군은 2024년 10월부터 조례를 제정하여 농기계 임대료를 15% 감면해 왔으나, 경기 악화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 농업인들을 돕기 위해 올해 12월까지 농기계 임대료 50% 감면 정책을 연장하기로 했다.

임대료 감면 혜택은 청송군 관내 농기계임대사업소 3개소(본소, 남부, 진보)에서 임대하는 농업용 트랙터 외 62종, 총 658대의 모든 기종에 대한 임대료 및 장기 임대에 적용된다.

윤경희 청송군수는 “경기 악화로 어려움을 겪고 있는 농가의 생산비 절감과 소득 보전에 도움이 되고자 농기계 임대료 감면 정책을 2025년 연말까지 연장 시행하기로 결정했다.”며, “앞으로도 농가 피해를 최소화할 수 있는 다양한 지원 방안을 지속적으로 마련해 나가겠다.”라고 말했다.
