【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 19일 APEC준비지원단 회의실에서 2025년 APEC 정상회의의 의료분야 자문위원 위촉식과 응급의료체계 구축 실행계획 연구용역 중간 보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 위촉식에는 정주호 동국대 병원장을 비롯한 최대해 대한재난의학회 이사장, 박찬용 서울대병원 외상외과 과장 등 7명이 자문위원으로 위촉됐다. 자문위원들은 응급의료 분야에서 최고의 전문가들로, 2025년 APEC 정상회의에서 안전한 의료 대책 마련에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

경북도는 자문위원들과의 지속적인 협력을 통해 지역 여건을 반영한 최적의 방안을 마련하고, 경주를 방문하는 세계 정상들과 각국 대표단이 안심하고 지낼 수 있는 의료 대응 체계를 구축할 계획이다.

위촉식 후 이어진 응급의료체계 구축 실행계획 연구용역 중간 보고회에서는 APEC 준비기획단의 기본계획을 바탕으로 현장 의료진 배치, 시설 장비, 증상별 응급환자 이송 매뉴얼, 협력병원 지정 등 촘촘한 의료지원 방안이 제시됐다. 보건복지부, 경상북도, 외부 자문단은 의료체계와 행정체계의 유기적 연결 방안과 현장 의료인력 수급 방안 등을 논의하며 다양한 의견을 나누는 시간을 가졌다.

정주호 동국대학교 경주병원장은 “완벽한 응급의료체계 구축은 국제행사 개최의 핵심 요소”라며, “경상북도, 보건복지부와 함께 역대 최고의 응급의료 대책을 수립하여 안전한 APEC을 성공적으로 개최할 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.

김상철 APEC 준비지원단장은 “APEC의 성공적인 개최를 위해 자문위원들과 함께 응급의료지원체계를 위한 세부 과제를 구체화하고, 철저히 준비하겠다”고 밝혔다.
