【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도는 14일 전남 한우 사육 농가에서 구제역이 잇따라 발생한 가운데, 구제역 유입을 막기 위해 차단 방역을 강화한다고 밝혔다.

전남 영암에서 4건, 무안에서 1건의 구제역 발생이 확인되었으며, 혈청형은 O형이다. 이는 2023년 5월 발생 이후 1년 10개월 만에 국내에서 발생한 구제역으로, 경북도는 이에 따라 위기 단계를 ‘관심’에서 ‘주의’로 상향 조정했다.

이에 따라 경북도는 구제역 바이러스 유입을 차단하기 위해 선제적인 방역 체계를 가동하고 있으며, 지난 2월 말 종료된 ‘구제역 방역상황실’을 재개하여 방역 활동을 강화하고 있다.

경상북도는 소 사육 농가(17,779호, 76만 5천두)가 가장 많고, 돼지 사육 농가(639호, 127만 2천두)도 전국 4위로 우제류 가축이 많지만, 현재까지는 예찰 결과 특이사항은 없었다.

농식품부는 14일 오전 8시부터 16일 오전 8시까지 48시간 동안 전국 우제류 농가 및 관련 시설에 일시 이동 중지 명령을 발령했으며, 전남은 자체적으로 16일 오전 10시부터 17일 오후 10시까지 36시간 추가로 이동 중지 조치를 시행한다.

또한, 소와 염소의 상반기 일제 접종을 4월 1일부터 30일까지 실시하되, 이번 구제역 발생에 대응하기 위해 접종 기간을 14일부터 22일까지 앞당겼다. 소규모 농가(소 50두 미만, 돼지 1,000두 미만)에는 공수의가 접종을 지원하며, 접종은 31일까지 완료될 예정이다.

경북도는 또한 우제류 사육 농가와 도축장 등의 소독을 강화하고, 소규모 농가에 대해 축협의 공동방제단과 소독 차량 137대를 동원해 집중 소독을 실시한다. 전업농은 자체 소독을 강화하도록 유도하고 있으며, 축산 농가에는 행사와 모임을 금지하고, 농장 출입 시 가축, 사람, 차량에 대한 철저한 소독을 지도하고 있다.

김주령 경북도 농식품유통국장은 “농장에서는 백신 접종, 소독 및 농장 출입 통제를 철저히 해 줄 것”을 당부하며, “가축에서 구제역 의심 증상을 발견하면 즉시 관할 시군이나 1588-4060으로 신고해달라”고 강조했다.
