【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도가 본격적인 영농철을 앞두고 산불 피해를 입은 도내 농어가의 경영 안정을 지원하기 위해 농어민수당을 조기 지급한다고 24일 밝혔다.

이번 조기 지급은 지난 3월 대형 산불로 큰 피해를 입은 안동, 의성, 청송, 영양, 영덕 등 5개 시군의 농어가 중, 2025년도 농어민수당 지원 대상자 8,701가구를 대상으로 진행된다.

올해부터는 기존 상·하반기 분할 지급 방식에서 벗어나 상반기에 전액(60만 원) 지급하는 방식으로 변경됐다. 경북도는 이번 조기 지급으로 총 52억 원 규모의 재원을 투입해 피해 농어가의 영농자금 부담을 완화하고, 빠른 일상 복귀를 돕겠다는 계획이다.

지급은 지역별로 차등 시작된다. 청송군과 영덕군은 5월 2일, 안동시와 영양군은 5월 8일부터 지급되며, 지급 방식은 전용 카드 또는 지역 상품권 형태로 제공된다. 대상자에게는 개별 안내 문자메시지가 발송되며, 수령은 거주지 읍면동 행정복지센터 또는 농협을 통해 가능하다.

이철우 경상북도지사는 “영농이 한창인 시기에 산불 피해로 어려움을 겪는 농어가에 실질적인 도움이 되고자 농어민수당 지급을 앞당겼다”며 “이번 조기 지급이 지역 경제와 농촌의 활력 회복에 작지만 큰 보탬이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
