시는 지난 12일 국가유산청 민속분과위원회 현상변경 심의 회의에 참석해 진입로 포장 필요성을 강조했으며, 그 결과 비포장 구간의 포장과 배수로 정비 허가를 획득했다.

풍천 병산도로는 우천 시 도로 파임과 배수로 막힘, 먼지 등으로 통행에 어려움이 있었으며, 지역 주민과 방문객의 불편이 지속돼 왔다. 이번 허가로 약 780m 구간(폭 5.0~5.5m)에 대한 포장과 배수로 정비가 본격 추진된다.
