【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시가 27일 행정안전부 주관 ‘2025년 지방공기업 경영평가’ 기초상수도 분야에서 최우수 등급인 ‘가’등급을 받았다고 밝혔다.

이번 평가는 전국 281개 지방공기업을 대상으로 2024년 결산을 기준으로 실시됐으며, 기초상수도 분야 113개 기관은 도 단위 평가를 통해 등급이 결정됐다. 평가는 경영관리와 경영성과 2개 분야, 총 18개 세부 지표를 기준으로 진행되며, 지방공기업정책위원회 심의를 거쳐 5개 등급(가~마)으로 최종 확정된다. 올해 평가는 특히 저출생·지방소멸 대응, 지역경제 활성화, 건전 경영 지표 강화 등 정책 확산에 중점을 두고 평가가 이루어졌다.

안동시는 경영관리 분야 9개 세부 지표에서 모두 ‘매우 우수’ 평가를 받았으며, 특히 리더십과 경영혁신, 조직·인적자원 관리, 윤리경영, 지역상생발전, 재난·안전관리, 소통 및 참여 부문에서 높은 점수를 기록했다. 또한 경영성과 분야에서도 주요 사업성과와 고객만족도에서 우수한 성과를 보였다.

안동시는 2021년과 2023년 평가에서 연속 ‘나’등급을 받았으나, 올해는 경북에서 유일하게 최우수 ‘가’등급을 획득하며 전국 상위 8%에 이름을 올렸다.

권기창 안동시장은 “지방상수도 취·정수장 신설, 급수구역 확장, 원격검침 시스템 구축, 맑은물 상생수(병입수) 공급, 노후 상수도관 교체공사 등 다양한 사업을 지속적으로 추진해 안동 시민에게 안전하고 깨끗한 수돗물을 공급하고 물 복지 실현에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
