문경도자기협동조합(조합장 직무대행 박연태) 주관으로 열린 이번 행사는 올해로 28회를 맞는 문경찻사발축제의 성공을 기원하는 자리로 마련됐다. 행사는 박연태 찻사발축제 추진위원장의 헌촉을 시작으로, 도자산업 발전을 염원하는 조합원과 내빈들의 헌향, 헌화, 헌과, 헌미, 헌다, 독축 순으로 진행됐다.

이동욱 문경시장 권한대행은 “문경찻사발의 역사를 일궈온 선조 도공들의 정신을 계승해 이번 축제가 성공적으로 개최될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

박연태 찻사발축제 추진위원장도 “문경 도자 산업의 부흥과 축제의 성공을 위해 지역 도예인들이 한마음으로 힘을 모으겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 ‘2026 문경찻사발축제’는 오는 5월 1일부터 10일까지 10일간 문경새재 오픈세트장에서 열린다. 축제 기간 동안 다양한 테마의 도자기 기획 전시를 비롯해 찻자리 경연, 어린이 뮤지컬 공연, K-독도 홍보관 운영 등 다채로운 프로그램이 마련될 예정이다.
