【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=더불어민주당 경북도당은 8일 이낙연 당대표 주제로 협력의원단 온라인 출범식을 개최하고 원외지역 가운데 해당지역에 연고가 있거나 관심도가 높은 소속 국회의원들을 중심으로 전국 58개 지역위원회에 협력의원을 배정했다고 밝혔다.

이날 지난 21대 총선에서 당선자를 내지 못한 지역위원회 중 강원과 영남 등 당세가 취약한 원외 지역에 당 소속 국회의원을 배정하여 국비확보와 당면한 지역 현안 해결을 적극 지원하기로 했다.

경북지역은 지난 총선에서 아깝게 낙선한 김현권 전 국회의원 지역구인 구미을지역위원회를 제외한 12개 지역위원회에 총 29명의 협력의원이 배정되어 향후 지역현안을 함께 풀어갈 것으로 보인다.

포항북구 협력의원으로는 김철민(교육위)·김원이(보건복지위) 국회의원이 배정되었으며 포항남울릉 김민석(보건복지위)·김용민(법사위), 경주 양이원영(환노위)·이재정(외통위)·남인순(보건복지위)·박재호(행안위), 경산 조오섭(국토위)·조응천(국토위), 영천청도 이병훈(문광위)·이용빈(과기정통위)·이동주(산자위)·박범계(법사위), 구미갑 정태호(산업통상)·김주영(기재위)의원이 배정됐다.

또 김천지역위원회 협력의원으로는 홍정민(과기정통위), 고령성주칠곡 홍익표(기재위), 상주문경 서영교(행안위)·김주영(기재위)·이원택(농해수위), 영주영양봉화울진 이원욱(과기정통위)·양기대(행안위)·송기헌(법사위)·서영석(보건복지위), 안동예천 임종성(환노위)·박찬대(교육위), 군위의성청송영덕 김두관(기재위)·김승남(농해수위)국회의원이 협력의원으로 배정됐다.

장세호 도당위원장은 이날 출범식에서 “바쁘신 가운데도 불구하고 협력의원을 맡아주신 의원님들께 감사드린다”고 말하고 “국회 상임위별로 다양하게 구성된 만큼 크고 작은 지역현안과 국비확보에도 크게 기여할 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
