구미소방서(서장 한상일)가 경상북도 내 19개 소방관서를 대상으로 평가한 2020년도 소방행정종합평가에서 우수 관서(2위)로 선정됐다.

구미소방서에 따르면 소방행정종합평가는 도민에게 최고의 소방 서비스를 제공하고 신뢰받는 재난대응조직의 위상을 정립하고자 시행되고 있는 정책으로, 매년 경상북도 내 소방관서를 대상으로 업무추진 성과를 5개 분야, 19개 지표로 평가해 소방정책의 고품질화 및 업무역량 극대화, 나아가 차별화된 소방업무 시책 추진 등을 중점을 두고 있다.

이번 평가에서는 2020년 코로나19 확산으로 대면 업무 추진이 곤란했음에도 불구하고 소방대원전문자격 보유율, 소방안전체험 실적 등에서 높은 점수를 받아 우수 관서로 선정되는 영예를 안았다.

한상일 구미소방서장은“국민들의 염원에 힘입어 국가직으로 전환된 뜻깊은 해에 소방행정 서비스 제공을 위한 직원들의 노력이 결실을 맺어 더 의미 있게 생각한다.”며 “앞으로도 시민에게 다가갈 수 있는 소방정책을 추진해 구미 시민의 안전지킴이로서 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
