【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도경제진흥원(원장 전창록)은 이달 27일까지 환경·산림분야에 특화된(*일반 분야도 지원가능) ‘2022년 사회적기업가육성사업 예비창업팀’을 모집한다고 11일 밝혔다.

‘사회적기업가육성사업’은 혁신적인 아이디어를 통해 지역 사회 문제를 해결하는 ‘사회적기업가’를 발굴해 창업활동을 지원하고 인증 사회적기업 진입을 지원하는 프로그램이다.

경상북도에서는 2021년부터 올해까지 2년간 경상북도경제진흥원과 경상북도환경연수원이 컨소시엄을 맺어 운영하고 있으며, 총 37팀(작년 20팀, 올해 17팀)의 지역 내 사회적기업가 발굴·양성해 9팀을 (예비)사회적기업으로 진입시키는 성과를 거두고 있다.

이번 모집에서는 사회적기업을 목표로 하는 예비창업팀 6개를 선정할 예정이며 선정된 창업팀에게는 사회적경제의 이해를 돕는 교육 프로그램과 소셜미션 정립 및 사업모델링 발전을 위한 심화 멘토링, 마케팅 프로그램과 네트워킹 참여, 사업화 자금 700만원 지원 등의 혜택이 주어진다.

또한 차년도 ‘사회적기업가 육성사업’에 우선 참여할 수 있는 특전을 통해 사회적기업가로서 연착륙 할 수 있도록 단계 별 지원을 실시한다.

경상북도경제진흥원 전창록 원장은 “산림·환경분야 사회적기업가 육성이 지역기업의 ESG 경영확대를 위한 새로운 아이디어를 제공함과 동시에 지역사회에는 선한영향력을 미치는 결과로 이어질” 이라고 말했다.

또한 경상북도환경연수원 심학보 원장은 “유럽 등 선진국과 달리 우리나라는 환경·산림분야와 관련된 비즈니스 모델이 제한적이라는 점에서 산업의 확장성이 부족한 것이 사실인데, 경상북도의 경제진흥원과 환경연수원이 합동으로 새로운 비즈니스 모델을 지원한다는 점에서 본 사업의 의미는 매우 크다”고 말했다.
