【브레이크뉴스 경산】박은정 기자=경산시 여성회관 소속 여성자원활동센터(센터장 김윤희)는 25일 남천면 협석리에 있는 포도밭에서 일손돕기 봉사를 했다고 밝혔다.

이번 일손 돕기를 자처한 20명의 회원은 한창 농번기인 지금 농가에서 인력을 구하기도 힘들고, 인건비 부담에 재배면적을 줄이거나 농사를 포기하는 농가가 있다는 현장의 목소리에 손을 보탰다. 

김윤희 센터장은 "작년에 이어 일손 돕기에 적극적으로 참여해 주신 회원 여러분들에게 감사를 드리며, 본격적 영농철을 맞아 작은 손길이지만 일손이 부족한 농가에 조금이나마 도움을 드릴 수 있어 보람된 시간이었다"고 밝혔다.

전현옥 평생학습과장은 "여러 어려운 여건 속에서 일손이 부족한 농가를 위해 적기에 힘을 보태주신 경산시 여성자원활동센터 회원님들께 감사드린다"며 " 앞으로도 많은 봉사 활동과 나눔 실천으로 따뜻한 지역을 만드는 데 일조해 주길 바란다"전했다.

한편 경산시 여성자원활동센터는 7개 봉사팀 121명으로 구성된 여성회관 소속 자원봉사단체로 정기적으로 복지시설 급식 봉사, 농촌 일손 돕기, 사군자 지도, 공연 봉사를 하고 있으며, 매달 베푸리 나눔 장터를 개장하여 얻는 수익금으로 이웃돕기 성금과 장학금을 기탁하고 있다.
