【브레이크뉴스 김천】이성현 기자=김충섭 김천시장이 민선 8기 ‘현장 중심 소통 행정’을 구현하기 위해 5급 이상 확대 간부회의를 지난 25일 청소년 문화의 집 3층 대강당에서 개최했다.

26일 김천시에 따르면 김충섭 시장은 “간부 공무원은 시의 모든 시정에 관심과 애정을 가지고 열정적으로 업무를 추진해야 한다.”면서, “본연의 업무가 아니더라도 타 부서의 추진 계획도 큰 관심을 갖고 생동감 넘치는 시정 추진해 줄 것”을 당부했다.

이번 회의가 열린 청소년 문화의 집은 올해 3월에 이전·개관한 곳으로, 청소년들이 다양한 문화생활의 체험을 통해 재능과 창의력을 개발 및 증진할 수 있는 복합 문화 공간이다.

이날 회의도 정명수 가족행복과 과장의 청소년 문화의 집 현황 소개로 시작했다. 이후 각 부서 별로 8월에 진행할 주요 사업에 대해 보고하고 토론하는 시간을 가졌다.

김천시의 주요 사업들에 대해선 면밀한 검토를 거쳐줄 것을 거듭 언급했다. 단순히 사업의 완수가 목적이 아니라 이후 파생될 수 있는 문제들에 대해 사전에 대비하는 철저함을 가져주길 당부했다.

특히 코로나19 재유행 조짐이 보임에 따라 4차 백신 접종률 제고 방안을 강구하고 휴가철과 명절을 앞둔 상황이므로 방역에 더 힘써줄 것을 주문했다.

앞으로 김천시는 확대 간부회의를 시청이 아닌 ‘현장’에서 개최하여, 소통 중심의 행정을 지속적으로 이어나갈 계획이다.
