경북도는 오는 11일 도청 새마을광장과 그 일원에서 전남도와 ‘영호남 상생협력 화합대축전’이 개최된다고 6일 밝혔다.

6일 경상북도에 따르면 이번 화합대축전은 행사의 취지를 살려‘지‧지‧대(지금은 지방시대), 하나 되는 영호남’으로 슬로건을 정하고, 메인행사로 상생화합 비전선포식과 영호남 화합콘서트를 개최한다.

또 영호남 상생장터, 영호남 사투리큰잔치, 청소년 e스포츠 대회 등 부대행사에 이어 메인행사의 하나인 상생화합 비전선포식은 행사 당일 오후 5시 40분부터 약 50분간 도청 새마을광장에서 열린다.

경상북도립국악단과 전라남도립국악단의 경북과 전남의 상생과 희망을 음악예술로 표현한 공연을 시작으로, 청년대표의 비전선언문 낭독, 양 도지사 및 도의장의 비전선언문 서명으로 진행진다.

이어 송가인, 진성, 박창근, 이찬원을 비롯한 영호남 지역출신 대중가수 12명이 무대에 올라 동서의 화합과 대한민국의 희망을 노래하는 영호남 화합콘서트 무대가 약 2시간 동안 펼쳐진다. 

특히, 이날 새마을광장에서 열리는 비전선포식과 화합콘서트에는 전남지역의 유림, 문화예술인을 비롯한 전남 주민 약 300여명이 참석해 경북 지역민들과 함께 교감하며 동서의 화합을 다진다.

또 부대행사로 영호남 상생장터는 11~12일, 이틀간 도청 경화문 주차장에서 열리며, 경북과 전남 지역의 50여 농가가 참여하여 지역 농‧수‧특산물을 판매한다.

아울러, 11일부터 1주일간 안동문화예술의전당과 도청 안민관 1층 전시실에선 영호남 미술교류 전시회도 열린다.

또 같은 장소(안민관 1층 전시실)에서 지난달 5일부터 지난 4일까지 전 국민을 대상으로 한 영호남 사투리 경연대회 수상작품 관람도 가능하다.

11일 동락관 야외공연장에는 청소년 e스포츠 친선전이 열려, 젊은이들의 발길을 잡을 예정이다.

경북 및 전남지역에 거주하는 청소년을 대상으로 지난달 5일부터 28까지 리그오브레전드와 카트라이더 두 게임에서 각각 참가신청을 받아, 예선 및 본선을 치러 총16팀을 뽑아, 이날 경북 및 전남대표팀이 게임별로 친선교류전을 갖게 된다.

이외에도 경북과 전남에 거주하는 지역민을 모집해 유네스코 문화유산 교류답사를 지난달 진행했으며 매년 열리는 어르신 생활체육 교류전을 올해는 영호남 화합대축전과 발맞춰 지난달 26일부터 9.28일까지 경산일원에서 열고 어르신들의 생활체육 교류도 활발히 이어갔다.

이철우 경북도지사는“문화는 치유와 소통의 힘을 갖고 있다. 영호남의 문화역량을 압축적으로 선보인 이번 화합대축전을 통해 우리 영호남 지역민들은 문화예술로 하나가 되는 놀라운 경험을 할 것이다”며, “이러한 소통과 화합이 대한민국 재도약을 위한 새로운 지방시대를 이끌어 가는 원동력이 될 것임을 확신한다. 내년에도 전남과 손잡고 화합대축전을 이어갈 것이다”고 밝혔다.
