이번 선정으로 군위군은 국비 2억 3백만 원 포함 총사업비 4억 6백만 원을 확보해 기후친화형 폭염쉼터 조성사업(어린이공원 시설개선 2개소, 그늘막 및 벤치 설치 6개소), 맞춤형 녹색공간 조성사업(소규모 마을정원 조성 2개소) 등을 추진할 예정이다.
김진열 군위군수는 “이번 공모사업 선정은 군위군이 기후변화에 대응하려는 적극적인 의지를 가지고 있음을 보여주는 결과이며, 앞으로도 지속적인 사업 추진 및 관심으로 기후변화로 인한 취약계층의 피해를 예방하여 행복한 군위를 만드는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
