이날 행사는 김진열 군위군수를 비롯하여 1명의 명예퇴직자와 3명의 정년퇴직자, 가족, 동료 공직자들이 참석한 가운데 그 동안의 헌신과 노고에 대해 감사하고 아쉬움을 함께 나누었다.

퇴임자들은 공직생활을 무사히 마칠 수 있도록 도와준 동료 직원들과 가족들에게 감사한 마음을 전했으며, 퇴임 후에도 군위군의 발전과 군민들의 행복을 위해 도움이 될 수 있도록 노력하고 늘 응원하겠다고 전했다.

한편, 이날 퇴임한 변예지 전 주민복지실장은 후진 양성을 위해 교육발전기금을 쾌척했다.
