28일 군위군에 따르면 이번 지원 대상은 관내 한파 쉼터 211여 곳에 개소당 40만 원씩 총 8,440여만 원을 지원한다.

군위군은 이번 지원이 한파 취약계층의 난방비 걱정을 해소하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

김진열 군위군수는 “긴급 난방비를 지원해 추위에 취약한 어르신 보호에 최선을 다하겠다”며 “자연재난 대책 기간인 내달 15일까지 한파 쉼터 점검 및 관리를 추진하고 국민행동요령 등을 지속적으로 홍보하겠다”고 말했다.
