지난 5일 군위군청에서 대학과 군청 관계자 10여 명이 참석한 가운데 대구보건대학교와 대구광역시 군위군의 보건의료 관련 교육과 서비스 지원체계를 구축을 위한 협약식이 개최되었다.
양 기관은 ▶DHC 찾아가는 청춘토탈케어 프로그램 ▶경로당 환경개선 프로젝트 ▶글로컬 대학 30 추진을 위한 지·산·학 협력 네트워크 구축 ▶복지·교육·의료산업 분야 공유협업 등 다양한 프로그램을 제공함으로써 지역문제해결과 지역민 삶의 질 향상을 위해 상호 협력하기로 했다.
남성희 대구보건대학교 총장은 “이번 협약으로 보건의료 계열에 특화된 우리 대학만의 토탈케어 프로그램을 제공해 군위군 주민 건강 개선에 기여할 것”이라며 “앞으로 지자체, 대학, 산업체가 함께 지역의 문제를 해결하고 동반성장하기 위한 상생협력 생태계 조성에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
