【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)는 19일부터 20일까지 인도네시아 자카르타 보건산업기술대학 II 디지털 치과기공 센터에서 ‘신규 교과목 시범 교육프로그램’을 성공적으로 운영했다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 국제협력선도대학 육성지원사업(ODA)의 일환으로 진행됐으며, 현지 치기공학과 3학년 재학생 60명을 대상으로 신규 교과목 도입과 정착을 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.

교육은 대구보건대학교가 2023년부터 구축한 디지털 치과기공 센터와 2024년 개발한 고정성 CAD/CAM 기공학 교재를 기반으로 진행됐다. 특히 지난 2년간 현지 교원 교육프로그램을 이수한 보건산업기술대학 II 담당 교원이 협력 교수로 참여해, 교육의 현장 적용성과 지속성을 높였다.

교육과정은 ‘고정성 CAD/CAM 기공학(Fixed CAD/CAM Technology)’을 주제로 이론 강의와 실습으로 구성됐다. 학생들은 첨단 디지털 치과기공 기술을 체계적으로 배우며, 현지 산업 수요에 맞는 전문 역량을 강화할 수 있었다.

교육을 주관한 치기공학과 박광식 교수는 “이번 시범 교육은 ODA 사업을 통해 구축한 인프라와 교육 자원을 실제 교육과정으로 연결한 의미 있는 사례”라며, “앞으로도 현지 교수진과 긴밀히 협력해 인도네시아 치기공학 교육의 질적 향상과 전문 인력 양성에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Health College Conducts Pilot Training for New Digital Dental Laboratory Technology Course in Indonesia

Daegu Health College (President Nam Sung-hee) announced the successful completion of a pilot training program for a new course at the Digital Dental Laboratory Center at the College of Health Industry and Technology II in Jakarta, Indonesia, from the 19th to the 20th.

This program, part of the International Cooperation Leading University Development Support Project (ODA), was designed to support the introduction and establishment of new courses for 60 third-year dental technology students in the country.

The training was based on the Digital Dental Laboratory Center established by Daegu Health College in 2023 and the Fixed CAD/CAM Technology textbook developed in 2024. Notably, a faculty member from the College of Health Industry and Technology II, who had completed the local teacher training program over the past two years, participated as a cooperating instructor, enhancing the practical applicability and sustainability of the training.

The curriculum, focusing on "Fixed CAD/CAM Technology," consisted of theoretical lectures and practical training. Students systematically learned cutting-edge digital dental technology and were able to strengthen their professional capabilities to meet the needs of the local industry.

Professor Park Gwang-sik of the Department of Dental Technology, who supervised the training, said, "This pilot training is a meaningful example of connecting the infrastructure and educational resources established through ODA projects to a practical curriculum." He added, "We will continue to work closely with local faculty to contribute to the qualitative improvement of dental technology education in Indonesia and the cultivation of specialized personnel."
