이번 교육은 예산 및 결산안 심사 기법 등 의회 본연의 업무인 집행부에 대한 견제와 감시 기능을 강화하고, 초선의원 및 직원들의 업무능력을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.

1월 31일 경북콘텐츠진흥원 1층 창조아트홀에서 진행된 교육은 제윤의정 소속 강인태 법학박사가 강사로 나서 지방재정 이해 및 예산분야 실무에 대한 강의를 펼쳤다.

초선의원들은 “지방의회 의원으로서의 역할을 충실히 하기 위해 항상 공부하고 연구하는 자세를 잃지 않겠다”며 “제9대 안동시의회가 지역의 발전과 주민들의 행복한 삶을 위해 더 많은 성과를 낼 수 있도록 의정활동에 만전을 기하겠다”고 다짐했다.
